SKETCH COMEDY AT ITS FINEST
Sydney Comedy Festival enters its 11th year with some of Sydney’s best and upcoming comedians performing sketch and stand-up.
Following her sold out performance at Sydney Fringe, Rubee returns with Colin the Bear and sketches about worms and marsupials to feature in this year’s SCF. It’s Rubeeeeee!! IN LIGHTS! will be performed over 3 nights at Sydney’s iconic Factory Theatre.
Set in an imaginative world where toys come to life (Rubee’s bedroom) Rubee awakes to find Colin the Bear drunk and in despair. He’s broken up with his boyfriend, and Rubee decides he needs cheering up. This heart-warming and cheeky story is interspersed with sketches involving unique and entertaining characters and original dance routines that feature Rubee and her forever loyal back up dancer and friend, Levi!
The result of this off-centre comedian and her creations, leaves audiences complaining of their cheeks hurting from smiling as they sit in anticipation of her next hilarious move.
